The Brief
The employees will be divided into different groups per color (White, Yellow, Red, Black).
Can you help me to choose which is catchier and more relevant? And also, please create individual designs each color saved in separate files. The vendor wants to have the files separate per color because they will just print continuously, no editing from their side.
OPTION 1 – “We are Outsmart”
- Font size can be adjusted to fit well into the shirt.
- Outsmart’s logo can also be improved.
Option 2 – “Outsmart United”
- Front of the shirt has Outsmart’s logo only
- Back of the shirt is printed with tagline (see below).
Design Thinking Process:
Understanding the Brand
The process began with exploring Outsmart’s identity — a brand defined by collaboration, intelligence, and adaptability. The goal was to visualize “thinking outside the box” through a design that captures both human creativity and collective movement.
Design Challenge
We aimed to create a T-shirt that symbolizes teamwork, innovation, and shared purpose. It needed to feel elegant and conceptual, while still connecting to Outsmart’s message of “We Are Outsmart” and “Outsmart United.”
Ideate
The idea evolved from the notion of “waves of thought.” These flowing lines symbolize continuous thinking, communication, and synchronization — much like the way an organization moves as one when united by a shared vision. To embody teamwork visually, we illustrated a rowing team in minimalist line art — each individual distinct yet part of a seamless rhythm.
Final Outcome
A minimal, conceptual design that represents collaboration, intelligence, and forward thinking. The waves of thought transform into human action — a metaphor for Outsmart’s philosophy of thinking together, acting together, and moving forward as one.
